Here's your Crux and Crucible Gear List
Gear is a funny thing... you may go for a bunch of races without needing anything, start thinking you're invincible, and then poof, something happens, and you're up the creek without a paddle, so to speak...
Adventure racing differs from triathlons etc, in that it is, in part, an expedition - a trek, an adventure - and carrying some gear is part of our history and heritage. Therefore, bring your stuff with you, "hope for nothing, and be ready for anything!"
This is your mandatory gear list for the Midnight Ramble, the Crux and/or the Crucible Adventure Races!
There WILL be a mandatory gear check at check in, and at least one surprise check during the race. Penalties will range from 30 minutes to disqualification (Yikes!).
Also, if you don't have the right gear, you won't get to race!
Items marked with * must be carried by all SPRINT racers
(Changes are marked in red)
